Eve's Plum ID their music video, "Jesus Loves You"
from their cd, "Cherry Alive". On the Raygun Tour, the band
made a stop at the seedy Hollywood Grand. Singer Colleen Fitzpatrick
has a nice voice, not unlike that of Blondie's Deborah Harry. It's not bad,
it's rather like the gritty sweet & sour taste of orange-flavor Vitamin C.

Two of the coolest chicks ever, Heather and Leisha
of the Murmurs, talk to Let It Rock! about anything and
everything, at their first big concert appearance in Los Angeles,
at the Pantages Theatre. Their set was absolutely amazing. They play live
with their 12-string western jumbos, harmonizing like sweet angels for one passage,
then they quickly turn on you with a stealth ambition, delivering disturbing inquiries.

Weezer bassist Matt Sharp and guitarist Brian Bell, are seen
here backstage at the majestic and historic Ventura Concert Theatre.
VJ Jeff Andersen was busy getting Soundbytes video ID's for the single,
"Buddy Holly". Conversation topics included the guitar collection of producer
Ric Ocasek (the Cars), and also, the chance meeting between Weezer singer Rivers
Cuomo and Ace Frehley, at Weezer's big NYC showcase.

Nina and her Cardigans make light of all things heavy,
backstage at the Wiltern Theatre. These Swedish rockers
won-over radio programmers with their Blondie-esque pop-rock
and light disco affectations. The kids just love it! The Cardigans cd
"First Band On The Moon" spawned a couple of Soundbytes Top10 video requests.
The band was very hospitable and very eager to make "Love Fool's" out of one and all.
